Good flick but the real thing is even better:


File #s 175, 176, 177 are the Flight Director's Loop leading up to and following the O2 tank explosion. About 7-1/2 hours of real-time recording. Very interesting if you're into this kind of thing.

There's also a complete set of recordings of the flight of Apollo 11 at the Archive.

Apollo 13 commander Capt. James Lovell just passed away last month, aged 97.
