Grundig 750 won’t power on

i just got the grundig 750 and when I plug it in and hit the power button it does nothing. Any ideas why ?

Using a multimeter check power adapter to make sure its putting out voltage or the correct voltage.

Most "wall warts" are easily tested with the tongue. Meters are preferred at voltages more than 12

yup check your "wal wart" plug , the Grundig uses the opposite of most , negative in the center and positive on the outer ring if I remember right,, and I think it is only a 6v adapter

or try with new batteries
