I have ran Hiel for 20 years, In my opinion its on of the best add ons to amateur radio, EXCEPT for Yaesu, for some reason the best mic for a yaesu is a yaesu mic, And that may be because the start of hiel was a copy of a yaesu mic, I run the hiel headset on my Icom 775dsp and I get good reports, but the heil 5 compliments the kenwood best of all. I say go for it.

Can a Heil PR40 Proline Broadcast Mic element be used in a amplified D104 and if so we're can one purchased just the PR40 mic element at.
