help please galaxy saturn receive low

i need some help. i have a 6 band galaxy saturn.
it has very low recieve. volume all the way up just to here a
unit 5 miles down the road.
if they run some power there very loud but not moveing the meter much.
maby 2 or three d b.it is a freind of mines radio. she sent it to a shop to fix the freq/ drift but this is what she got back. i found the boared
was cracked and fixed that. now no drift. but low rec.

eny and all help would be great. she cant aford to have it fixed by a tech
so im tryen to help her out.

You might check the center lead from the SO-239 to the board, should be a small bare solid wire lead to see if it's solder connection to the board is broken and any further who would know?

ok i will check it i forgot to add that it talks great. strong and loud.
i did find that L 12 is dead. so thank you for the tip i will check it out.
