Help Restoring A 142 GTL with A 2SC2078 Driver Mod

If that ain't the truth brother!! I can totally relate! Been there and done that. Won't buy used anymore due to this. And if I were to it would be from a tech that I know is not a BS artist! At any rate, I hope you get it all resolved. It's definitely a good learning experience. Having to un mod a radio that was once very nice. Had one myself and I kick myself in the arse everyone I think of it. Anyways. Keep up the good work and I am confident that with the help of the guys here you'll have it up and running!!

Have a great day 222, i'm glad we didn't have much trouble state-wide because of hurricane Matthew, also i'm glad you pulled down the antenna before it got wrecked.

Didn't realize you were over in the Tampa area. Good deal. Maybe one day I will have the pleasure of speaking with you. That is once I get my antenna back up and station running.:)

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
