Thanks, that more since than anything I have read. I should have known that about the tube since I got an associate degree in electronics. But guess what? That was just as transistors were coming in! When I graduated, they had so many electronic techs that they had electronic engineers at Stennis, the Mississippi test site working as electronic techs. Anyway I ended up working as a plant superintendent. I took my 2d class. In those days we had to do everything with a slide rule! Oh well, we have come a long ways, some of it good, some of it bad.
