Un-fecking-believable  I haven't had to force a return through ebay in quite a while now …. more than a year, but had to this past week due to a bad item and non-responsive seller.

Big surprise …. it's never been easy but ebay has made it even harder to contact them by phone …. I think it's impossible now to actually get them to give you their phone number (within your ebay account online) so you can call  any way nothing I tried worked.

So because the purchase was made with paypal and because PP is owned by ebay for the time being ( I understand in the news that ebay is looking at spinning PP off) …. I called paypal and not only were they able to to transfer me to ebay "customer service …. Ha!" …. but they also gave me their current number for future reference ….. I had their last known number recorded but it was non-working now. I think ebay changes their cust. serv. number every year or so just to be assholes - on my notepad here this is the 4th !! time ebay has changed their number since I have been with them and that's about 10 years. Anywho both pp & ebay phone people were obviously in call centers in India …. thick accents and heavy on the curry (n)

So for your records …. if you need to call ebay they're at: 866-540-3229

PP is still at: 888-221-1161

ebay's customer service model is just a Galaxy-Class disgrace

eBay gets gazillions of calls from tight ass nervous ninnies . You know? the greedy worrisome types, that always worry about getting screwed. I don't blame them for not prominently displaying their number.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
