I would like to get together with all of the Hams on the forum. If anyone is interested we could make a sched for this weekend. Depending on your location and distance from Southern Colorado we could decide on a band that would work best. I have all band capability with the Cushcraft AP8 vertical that a local ham is letting me use.

I would really like to get together with Doc, KD5VHF Mike, Happy Hamer, and KG4SO, but I would be thrilled to talk to anyone from the forum. So if anyone is interested in this let me know. Frequecies and time will be listed so some of you that haven't upgraded could listen in and get an Idea how this would work and catch the HF bug and get upgraded.

Lets make it a fun weekend on the air.

Who knows maybe it will be the start of the World Wide Radio HF wide area net that has been mentioned.

Take care

FastEddy,

About the only band I can use at the moment is 20 meters, haven't put the other antennas up yet, waiting for warmer weather (I've got 10 meters but I think that wouldn't be worth the effort). I usually hang out around 14.230 (analog slow scan) or 14.233 (digital 'slow scan'), but can move to a clear freq. Or, might get you interested in becoming a 'ScanHead' and play with slowscan TV! It's addictive, you know...

Doc,

20 might be a little rough from CO to OK, but it would be worth a try for sure. I know what you mean about warmer weather and antenna work. When you can get more antennas up we will have to try 40, I'll bet that would work great. I don't have any SSTV equip Doc or I would give that a whirl too.

Garth,

I bet 15 would work from CO to Nova Scotia. Lets try 21.345+- 10 around 8am MST tomorrow morning. If it don't work there we could move to 20. Lets just play that by ear for now. If the Timw is not convienent just let me know and we ca give it a go at a different time. This is cool, hope it works.

21.338 is clear and quiet for the moment in CO. I will be calling and listening for you on that one. 348 and 345 are very busy.
