Hi K Mike, Thaniks for the update, I am thinking of a base in the future, perhaps this coming summer. I will take a look at the models you mentioned thanks. I like good but old, I have two really good stereos using some of the better 70's equipment and love it.

When you are getting ready for a base, let me know. I have some "stuff" as my XYL puts it that I can donate.

Hey that would be much appreciated. It seems that putting the antenna first in mind helps in everyway regardless of the 11 meter radios you might choose.
