I wonder why this bill didn't go anywhere. i know a lot of hams that would be on the air if this was passed. I hear them all the time on echo link and dstar, as this is the only mode of operation they have. Maybe if we all went to Washington and started a riot,,,, oops I mean 'peacefull protest', we could get something done. Maybe we could save a dyeing hobby. https://www.congress.gov/bill/114th-congress/house-bill/1301

Just put an old car in the front yard and they will never see your antenna.....

.... edit...a lot of hams that would be on the air if this was passed...

You might "hear" that, but, the facts are otherwise.
Even the arrl's own survey states that only 5% of Amateurs are concerned with HOA restrictions.

The APA is backburnered at the arrl, after the "new wave" of elected directors took office.

  • @ Deon:
Good day, I have an Icom IC910H radio. I want to program a memory with split frequency tone on TX only and NO tone on RX,. Is this possible to do from the face of the radio? I don't have the interface to connect to a computer.
  • @ crappykraco:
@Deon very unlikely to get a response here. You are better off starting a thread on the topic.
