I seen one of them release some serious smoke and detonate at an old timers shack. He had it wired direct to the fuse box. To cheap to buy a plug. To bad, nice old amp it was.
Had friend drag one of those to me few weeks back.
The transformer and relay are huge.
Tube sockets are mounted on the board, tubes set horizontal.
Nothing wrong with the amplifier, tubes were all shot.
Owner said he wanted to retube it?? Told him good luck and sent it down the road.
Construction was good, all heavy duty components, better than many 11 meter amps I have been in.
