Actually, my experience with Russian was limited to a few weeks' worth back in late September of 1963 after I went aboard USS Kitty Hawk for three years of Radioman-ing. Learned the alphabet, and I can still sound out printed words -- of course, most of the time I have no idea what they mean.
Google Earth is a blast! "Roaming" down various streets at street level, looking at signs and trying to decipher what sort of building it is. And every so often, there's a logo that proves absolutely that capitalism won!
