Hey Fardawg, did you ever get a owners manual? I'm the one who didn't get one when I bought the radio. Bobby copied his and sent them to me and I can do the same for you if needed. Just let me know! "Hawk"

Re: How Many HR-2510/2600 & Lincoln Owners Are There On

Just bought a HR2600 w/chipswitch & a xt400 cheap. I sent the 2600 to Doc, and he's puting the big final in it, he put a fan on it, did some mod repairs/redo's, allign and a few fixes.

Can't wait to get it back and start tx'ing and rx'ing.

The 2600 was already pretty good on ssb, and ok on am with good receive. This thing should be ars kickin' when Doc gets finished with it.

I'll give an update when I get it back and give it a "testing testing, one two three"

I have a question for all you proud HR2510/2600-Lincoln owners...........How well do they hold up in a big truck?

Do they have to be aligned alot or can they take a beating like a Galaxy(or almost like a Galaxy)?

Re: How Many HR-2510/2600 & Lincoln Owners Are There On

Man, the reports I get on the hr2600 from locals and folks out there in skip land are the best of any radio I have run as a base. You can just tell when someone has that "perfect" sounding set up, and those are usually the folks that compliment on how nice your station sounds. Good rx and "if tuned by someone who knows the Pres. line" loud clean audio. I've never run one as a mobile though.

PS, the Turner+3 base mic gives my 2600 the loudest cleanest sound of any mic I've tried.

I bought mine from a friend 3 weeks ago for $65.00, I sent it to Tom at Doc's Electronics and had the works done ("EVERYTHING that could be done"). It is definitly a screamer.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/eek.gif ALT=":eek"> Thanks again Tom<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/happy.gif ALT=":D">
