How many HT's have you owned through the years?

Had two to many icoms,didnt learn the first time,ic32a or w32a JUNK...and a ic80,nightmare to program and ran hot...would burn you,sent it back two times and traded it for a kantronic tnc and my best is the one i have now,a ft250r and 2nd best was a icom mistake they made it for them a rad shack htx202...had a alinco dj180 for around 20 years,many bat packs...great radio...73 de n0zna

when I get mine I am thinking about putting 2 or more 1/8th wave counterpoise inside the radio

I tried low power just can't hit the repeater

I am planning to get the uv-5r myself

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
