How to lock the clarifier on a Tristar 747?

my tristar 747 cb radio is off frequency on sideband. to get it tuned up would cost more than the set is worth so if i locked it it wouldn't matter. i have searched google tediously but no luck. the board number is supposed to be PTBM121D4X which comes in ham multimode 2 ham jumbo 2 concorde 2 and some hygain V 's

You can do it yourself if you have another ssb rig that is on frequency by zero beating it, just put both radios on the same "channel" and find the ssb lower and upper frequency pots then key the mic on the radio being aligned and you'll hear a high pitched tone on the recieving radio, adjust the transmitter until the tone becomes one single tone without any chirping and then do the same one the upper ssb side.

Make sure you have the clarifier knob at the 12 o'clock position before starting this procedure.
