Best...? AM RX far from good, AGC needs some work, front end need reworking and so on.

I have 2 chipswitched HR2600's that are due for re-capping.

I like these radios for what they are!

I got a modded early president grant.actually bought 2 when they first came out.gave 1 to my dad with a power supply i still use.i was trucking n we had a time at nite we go up on lsb on a high freq n try to talk back n fourth..i got a 150 watt helper n we did have a few nitely chats.my radio hasnt been in a shop since i bought it.i dont know who took dads radio.id like to have it back as they were consecutive numbered.
