HR 2510 difference?

Which of the 2510's are better than others? I see Phillipine and Taiwan made,any difference between the two quality wise?

Not much. Some of the Taiwan models had talk back that you had to get rid of. All are GREAT radios. I have several of each and all work very well. My favorite radio.

The only difference that I ever cared about was the early ones went to 29.999.9 where the second gens stop at 29.699.9.

The ones I am using now I paid $200 Canadian for them last fall, and one has a chipswitch in it, forgot how cool these radios are to operate.
