Have you ever seen 2510 working only between 26.000 and 27,999MHz? How to open it to 10m?
Seem to be untouched.

It depends on the radio's version; several different HR2510 versions were produced. YMMV

Over the years I had on my bench more than 200 of HR2510, HR2600, HR2830, Lincoln's and similar for repairs or tune.
None of them were locked just to CB.

I came across a clean Kenwood TS-430S once that was locked to 11 meters. I passed on it, but remembered thinking... why? As you have seen over the years, people do some weird mods. Hope you get yours figured out, they are pretty great rigs.
