HRD just did a major overhaul and have been adding updates weekly since. I thought I would check DM780 to see if there any issues an mine is working just fine on PSK-31.
Are you receiving a S-5 or better signal on your radio? Are both your TX and RX input/output sources selected to the correct sound source? If so then you can adjust your sound card in windows sound card properties and also check your radio's USB audio level in and out. I leave my radio USB in/out settings at max and adjust the level within Windows and also the audio level adjustment in the DM780 program. That should bring up the audio level to decode the digital signals.
Don't forget on TX to show as little as possible ALC to where you still get desired power level out and very little to no ALC reading.
