Huracan MK2

Having receive only clarifier... It's a turd already.

ya hopefully that will be changed, (keep it the same way it is in the pic with a selectable switch) unless the thing has hf type radio stability,, or a clarifier mod will come along,,, cant believe they would lock it to receive only,, mk3 is unlocked stock and he designed that radio

Guys...its a 7 digit frequency counter. It doesn't need an open clarifier if you can adjust the frequency 10Hz at a time.

It may work like the cre8900. Depending on how you set it up in the menu, the clarifier could adjust just the RX, or the Tx and the RX. In fact, you could adjust the RX and the key up and adjust the Tx separately. What I didn't like is it wasn't a free flowing clarifier. It adjusted using voltage and each time it "clicked", it would have a millisecond of interrupted receive. Outside of the difficult to use menu setting to adjust mic gain (stupid) and talkback, it is a fantastic little radio. I like the sound quality better than the optima personally.

Anyway, really like to check it out.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
