The question is WHY? You could buy TWO antennas with better specs than that (and a combined weight that's less) for what that one costs.
I've had a Workman dual band base antenna for about a year and a half. It's smaller than the Hy-Gain, has 15-20% more gain, and it cost about $70.
Unless the V-42R has some kind of wild bandwidth that I'm not seeing, I'm not feelin' it...
