I am sure I am not the odd guy out when I say I have enjoyed this forum for years and years without being a paying member. I disappeared for a few years and then came back. Marriage issues. In plain explanation, I kept the Royce base station, there is no Mrs. no more... These past holidays I realized that this forum is very different from the other forums on the internet. People participate and try to help other, I am on a firearms forum. No replies to my new member introduction post. I guarantee that if one of our friend posted that he had a fire in his garage/ workshop and the building was saved, but he lost is collection of radios and parts from water damage that most of us would send him a radio. It may be an older radio, but they all would be in good working order and maybe a little bit on the tuned up side. Someone would send a Kraco to be funny. My point is that after a very shitty day I can log in and read what's going on and maybe participate in the conversation. The Admins and group members here are all people I am please to know, and I hope the Forum continues on and on into the future. Maybe are first text message back from ET- Aliens will read.
