I have a odd question/favor.....

We get a lot of Mexico Skip here in CA at times......I hear a lot of guys down there that are mixing low level audio in with the Mic input so there is music playing in the background the whole time they talk, it is too clean and consistent to be background noise.
And Key-ups/un-keys with 10 or 12 different beeps/bloops/burst`s/tones.
Must be a good Market for noise toys down there.

I often wondered how they did that. It does sound kinda neat almost like a radio station dj introducing the next or previous set.

But wasn't that technology around here in the U.S. in the 70's?
