Good job. Mother Nature gave you a nice bday present!! It's always fun making your first contacts like that. Mine were made the same way. A dipole at about 15ft. Pointed NE to SW and I talked to Australia on 12 watts on 38lsb on a pc122xl. Furthest contact I've made to date! It was to operator 351. He was and may still be a member here. Anyway glad to hear you had a blast and Happy Birthday to you. Keep at it, and get yourself a log book. Write down your contacts and Happy Dxing!!

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
