I have an ICOM IC910 and the display is fine if viewed from above. When face on, the display is faded and unreadable. When viewed from below, the display disappears. A ham friend has a IC910 with the same problem.
Any suggestions?
There is a conductive rubber between display and PCB.
To fix that you need to disassembly front panel and clean that rubber strip, pcb contacts and display edge where that gum goes.

Hi. I acquired a Galaxy Saturn Turbo that goes into xmit mode, xmit LED lights, but no output at all in any mode when monitoring on a radio right next to it. Nothing. It receives fine. Also, in the amp module on back, there are MRF454's in there. Those weren't factory, were they? Any clues? Thanks.
