Scored a nice little 228A today. Only 5/25 watts. Mic has DTMF on the back side. It's in great shape and works good. Local dudes say audio is nice. Nice to have an older functional 2 meter mobile devoid of nuisance menus.

I think these came out in early 90's. Just thought I'd brag about it.

Just looked at a picture. That IC-22 looks sweet. The analog meter is a nice touch. Basic controls. I like it. Be a good little packet rig.

The older stuff is very well made and just works. I have an IC-38a for 220, the below picture is not mine.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
