ICOM IC-9100 modification?

When they say to remove and "ADD" are they saying to just reuse the diodes, or can it just simply be bridged with solder?

just remove the ones that are still there(per the band 3 mod),, don't have to add anything or solder anything

you will probly only have to remove 1 or 2 diodes

I might need your guidance in modding my IC-9100. I probably won't need to open up any V/U stuff. I imagine it will be the same mod as the 7410. The "adding" part confused me.

Not yet. I picked up a IC-9100 and want to do the crossband repeat mod. That's described in my link. I'll probably go ahead and open both for extended HF transmit only. I imagine it would be same on both rigs. Still mulling if I want to expand V/U on the 9100.
