Icom ic745 RIT/XIT adjustment

Does anyone know the adjustment point to calibrate the rit/xit on an icom ic745? I cant find a service manual thats not in a zip format online. The radio is perfectly on freq. except for the rit/xit. The control is at 3'oclock to be on freq. I wanna get it back to 12'oclock where it belongs. thank you

    Is it possible to be on a lake and have a homing directional beam being emitted from the shore so a person could navigate to that beam's source? For example at night to a jetty.
