I agree. Real techs solder/unsolder. Hackers......well.....they hack away until they manage to break the right component.Hopefully before they break the wrong one.

Having problems

I applied the mod by unsoldeing the two diodes, now I have lost the Main/Dual button function. All of the other buttons work fine. Is there a reset I need to do like on the IC-2820H before I can start using the radio???

Thank you, but the radio I'm having problems with is the ID-51
