If you had to pick a 40 SSB CB BASE purely on asthetics what would you choose?

I had a friend who had a stoner cb radio..... it was and probably still is all hype.... a 148 would run circles around it.

I never owned one, but they were built from the ground up for SSB, AM was a option that required a external AM unit.
Everything I have read says better filtering in rx on SSB?
They were only rated for 10 watts SSB output so I see the 148 having a power advantage over the pro 40.

First time I've seen that gold look. I've seen the brushed aluminum face before, and even black. They all look good for different reasons.

I had a Midland 78-976 for a while and thought it looked nice sitting on the desktop. I couldn't find any pics of it.
