    Picked up a Yaesu FT-60R handheld this week to get on the air while I wait for my tree guy to get the dipole antenna up. Anyone had any experience with this particular radio? It's bare-bones but will get me started.

    Finally, after a snail mail delay between the VEC and ARRL, the FCC granted my call sign yesterday, KC1IYT.
