Imax 2000 only 7' off ground??

Got it up.. waiting on LMR-240 to get here..

Base of antenna is 15 1/2 ft, the tip is approximately 32 1/2 ft.. best I can get before trees get dicey..

Base is 5.5 ft above roof which I think is just asphalt with coating.. antenna is on other side of house with 4" wall mounts x4 for added safety..

Top rail mast post is screwed together with 3 self tapping screws on opposite sides where it slips in.. 2 wall mounts up top and 2 on bottom piece..



Things to note **: A99 only includes U bolts and not a bracket like the Imax..

Coax done. Tested A99 with McKinley.. got 1-1 on 1 and 1.3 on 40.. adjusted rings a turn or so.. now 1-1 across.

Ok. So A99 with McKinley, and RM203..

2 ground contacts both about 18 miles away on 38L according to grid square mapping of there zip codes for the cities they said they were in. on AM I've had some about 9 miles away..

Now granted with the various mountains here in the Pocono PA area I'll take this as a decent start.

Just need to be home for ship..

On a +Note, clean 7.2675 (3905 club net) contact last night using Alinco DXSR-8T and 100w endfed up in the tree to Tennessee 812 miles away.. not as good as the other 1102 miles away from 3 weeks back but I'll take it.
