Interesting History Of CB In The UK

The vids are great -- though I don't understand their fixation on FM. Doesn't FM interfere with more frequencies???

Nope, not in the slightest. In fact FM will not splatter and flat top causing even more grief on the air like an AM signal can. FM will cause less TVI because of this. For short range local comms like CB is/was meant to be FM is far superior because it is less prone to causing interference, less prone to receiver noise, and has far better voice quality that AM.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
