Does not happen on my xforce, but it does on my Swan Mark II. The Swan even shows the watts thruput on the meter and any reflection noted if I switch it, all with the amp off.

What lights are you referring to, that might simplify the answering the question about 100%.
When you ask questions, be specific.

It works like a charm....puts out what they say it is supposed too.....I just noticed when I turned it off and just talked thru the radio with it still in line the lights on the front would light up a little....I do not use it....I just talk straight radio on LSB when conditions are right.....I had a nice keyboard a guy wanted and I took it on a trade. :)

I have the same radio 2995dx and the 40012 amp with modulation lights... Mine does the same thing, but I noticed if I unplug the amp and turn the power switch on, the lights will quit blinking after modulating through the mic a few times.. It doesn't affect the performance of the amp though.. Maybe it is electricity built up inside the amp??
