The driver of the Pinto (yes, it drives) was pulled over by a Minnesota State Trooper and was cited for unsafe equipment and driving without a license. The car was then impounded.

I always wondered were my old wagon went.....

Let's not get judgmental here without looking at all the facts.

This car has custom weight saving body work. The fuel tank has been relocated for better ground clearance. The spare tire is located behind the drivers seat for quick easy access.

This is obviously a high performance rally car.

If it was all I had and needed to get to work, I would have no problem driving it. I'd at least slap some metal in the floor. The belts are in bad shape.

That is not the worst I have seen...

Bought a old NAPA delivery truck 91 s-10 PU for $50..(came from Minnisota) Had to put a 2x4 under cab corner to stop body from falling on the frame, The bed sides was rusted off same with front fenders.No rocker panels was left. had the 4.3 and a good black interior with COLD A/C drove the thing for the summer.. Pulled the engine and interior put into a 325,000 mile beater that I picked up for $25 drove it for a few months and sold it for $1500 SUH-WEET...

I have seen some pretty rotten cars in my time even though I am in AZ. The darned thing is they drove them out here from where ever back east

I like the fuel pump mounting and the kill switch is a nice touch...
Did you notice he keeps the owners manual on the dash in case he has a problem

But then again demo derby cars fuel tank is in back seat area but NOT the fuel pump
