ISO ECIFT12008 for galaxy 360014b, L12

I hate golden screwdrivers, and we have a local here who uses nothing but the finest jewelers screwdrivers to guarantee cracked cores. This particular radio had 3 broken cores and I was able to remove 2 of them and replace the cores, but one is buggered up beyond recognition. I know barkett has it, less than $3, but the almost $18 shipping is for the birds. I won't entertain that idea unless I have a big order, which I don't. Does anyone have a good, used transformer for about $10 shipped?

I was wrong, the radios I have use the EPT069610Z. The only 36001 board I had was given away last year. Sorry.

Somebody (else) needs to put together a proper cross-reference between the "LA"-prefixed numbers found in a Uniden-made product and the numeral-only IDs used in a radio made by RCI. There are more than a few overlaps where the same part has a different number in each factory. Now that the radio junkyard is becoming the primary source for a lot of parts, this kind of substitution list would be handy, and more so year by year.

Couldn't someone (else) compare the BOM from both or extrapolate the cross reference from item placement across the boards? I could see an issue comparing a copy of a copy of a board to the original, things change, the transformer got smaller, supply issues caused a needed circuit tweak to accommodate a slightly different part here and there. Sounds like a ton of fun for someone (not us).

I have trouble sacrificing one for the many. What is more important, having a working radio or chopping it up so other radios can get fixed? I find it a difficult decision.
