Try it ! It will either work, or it won't. If it doesn't work but has the correct plug then you can just rewire it so it does work..........
I ask because I tried to have it wired for a radio about a decade newer than that one and was told it was not possible because the microphone didn't have a relay or something like that.
Never encountered a mic with a relay ! Though one could exist I suppose......
What there is that does matter it that some older radios have a relay to switch between tx and rx and newer radios use transistor switching. Some older power mics had a switch so they could be used with either system........
That Teaberry radio likely has a relay; you can easily check if you pop the cover off..

Pretty sure the Teaberry model is solid-state and uses a low-impedance mike.
Johnson radios were contrary on this count and used a mike with a high-impedance cartridge same as a tube-type radio. Won't sound good on a radio with a low-impedance mike input.
