Can we collectively...or just one good eyed tech, name this board and the mods visually done? More pics available if needed.

Not to be critical but placing a 100 watt PA directly over the main PC board with no RF shielding is a major no no. With the echo board and all the other sensitive low level electronics in that compartment, I'd be very impressed if there was no RF feedback. I see the DC choke and cap are there to filter the power line. That's good but some shielding would be better.

Thanks Shockwave, I actually have no idea what all these mods are. I just bought the radio for $50.00 from a local driver, he claimed he had a lot of money into it and it does seem much louder that my old one which had only a modest tune. It performs very well and I was hoping the members could help me out a bit as it seems there are a lot of jumped traces and add on wires.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
