I still haven't got to get out and play with the Midland handheld/plug it in the cigarette lighter and stick the tower on the top of the truck radio.
Last Saturday, when the wife and I went for it the battery went out on the truck. I was glad that it happened because I knew that the odds/time were running out on the battery. I figure the CB was it's last straw or draw. Probably and omen telling me to keep my tools sharp????
Anyway, tomorrow we go for it again and hopefully we will exchange words with an actual trucker or some CB talker while sitting at the local truck stop. Then we will probably jump in the back of the twin-cab and do it. I love them monthly testosterone shots. I didn't need Viagra, I just needed something to tell me when to go into a full rut. I doubt that all of those bodybuilding drugs that I did in the 80's have anything to do with that. :blink: Bull-crap, yes they did!
Beyond that, we have learned much about emergency talker/SW/weather radios/ walkie talkies. It has been a total HOOT!
