This past weekend, Rob Fogle, K9ROB did a one-day push up Granite Peak, Montana just outside the NE corner of Yellowstone. 1st Activation ever of this peak. Rob is a close friend of a near neighbor of mine here in Dixie and I have spoken with him during one of his recent visits here. He did a Go Pro Video of the hike and activation and it's a very interesting watch. 30 minutes on youtube and you can fast forward through any bits of it you wish to. Hat's off to Rob on this amazing accomplishment. My friend was in cell contact with him during the hike and he and I were standing by eagerly wanting to be two of his contacts but propagation did not permit. Rob was mostly receiving Western States. My friend and I could hear almost everyone he was working and F4WBN from France was booming in, but sadly we could never hear Rob ourselves. Congratulations Rob for 1st Activation of W7M/SF-001 !!!
