i know has to be a way to do this need somebody to tell me in simple words and terms , how to take low power to 10 watts? 5 watts isnt nuff to drive my mirage. thank you

I bought one of those...Like new in box/manual..etc...hate the rig...PITA to program...put back in box bought NIB Yaesu 2980 for mobile
programming was easy for me. deciphering the service manual on other hand not so easy. thanks to all that replied but i got the manual n cant figure it completely out

The adjustment mode is an involved procedure. There is a lot of information presented that you can't breeze through and will require study. I'd study the entire service manual until I knew what to expect of the process. It may take reading and re-reading many times and referencing it along the way.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
