Installed the New Driver and Acoustic upgrade kit today.
WOW, huge improvement! Improved Bass and audio depth is now excellent.
The Clunky Kenwood SP-120 is a real communication grade speaker now!
Recommend A++
I'll be shopping the Hamfests for reasonable speakers they make these kits for.
All the Best

Thanks. I’ve been curious.

One of fictions great portrayals of a tech is Tom Clancy’s sonar operator in his first novel.

The details matter.

As with stereo high fidelity: the space between any two notes is potentially infinite. How the musician (or vocalist) renders that is worth the price of admission.

Okay, (as in another thread today) the utterly prosaic convo is about prostrate surgery on that net . . but someday it mightn't be.

War of the World’s broadcast might qualify as to audio improvements one kicks one’s self for ignoring.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
