An easy way is use a Signalink interface box which gives you a simple connection to your radio and computer via a couple of cables. The Signalink box also acts as the sound card for your radio to computer.
You'"ll need a couple interface cables that Signalink sells and I believe your radio will TX the WSJT-X software using VOX on your radio. Maybe others can tell you if this radio has CAT control.
TS-850 Cables and Jumper board needed,
(You can usually buy the Signalink with the SLUSB13K as a kit and purchase separately the SLCAB13K cable.)
SLUSB13K (ACCY) Goes from Signalink to computer USB port
SLCAB13K (ACCY) Plugs into 13 pin DIN on back of radio which provides the radio's audio in and out to the Signalink and computer.
SLMOD13K Modular jumper board plugs inside Signalink box. Optional because you can use jumper wires. Follow instructions given in manual.
Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
