KL 60 SSB delay

have a look at this diagram:

ampli%2BKL-60.JPG

your AM SSB switch is S1, and that capacitor C4 is your SSB delay cap.
you need to lower its value in order to decrease the delay time.

start with one standard value down, meaning that if it's a 10uF cap, try a 4.7uF cap.
be sure to use an electrolytic capacitor with the same or greater voltage rating.

hope this helps,
LC

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
