learning electronics

This may have been asked several times before but what is the best way to go about learning more about electronics. I have been a cb guy for years and can tinker but would love to be able to repair and just have a better understanding of how things work and why .With my work schedule and being a single father I have no time to enroll in school so I thought Id ask here and get some opinions.. thanks

Thanks for the link. There used to be a couple of old ham guys that I would hang out with and try to learn from but they are gone now.
