Lets talk light bulbs

My FT101 has a 1816? bulb in the back as a "fuse" for the front end.
Obviously a 130V bulb gives me low receive but a no.47 gives me better receive than the 1816....Is the receiver aligned to this bulb?
Anyone ever played with different ma and voltages or is it as I said, aligned to the 1816?

trying to find the right number for the 16v bulb...seems impossible to find it.

A quick search shows this one to be a good replacement if you can't find the original. 14.4v

yes but the resistance will be different...the receive is regulated by this bulb.
