It must be a plague because one of them followed me home last Saturday as well along with one of the coolest receivers I have ever played with, a National NC-2-40. Pictures to follow. Your Heathkit looks in as good a shape as mine.
 
REALLY nice, mr_fx! I don't know my Heatkit equipment very well, and can't see all the screen print on the unit. Is it a transmitter or transceiver?

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
