Would be better if that original power supply was updated to a switchmode "brick" like the newer radios.
Single biggest thing that makes this a hard item to find is the tendency of the original power supply to 'run away' and fry the radio with 24 Volts.
The chinese switchmode brick won't do this. Has overload and overvoltage protection. The original power supply has none.
Only a fuse on the AC power line. By the time that fuse trips it's usually too late.
