I was looking at the CB/PA switch and D58.

please tell us that the radio isn't just in PA mode LOL.

its not in pa mode, as tx works red light comes on but no green rx light

d58 reads good not shorted as for the cb/pa switch i never seen one go bad .

have to look into d501 seems to be reading high but not shorted its located little board above channel selector.
