I'll try that. Thanks. I run a 500 watt comp (splatter) box in my truck right where it sits all the time with no problem though.

hard mount. I have some snap ferrets I never used on my mobile install. I'll try putting them on the devices having problems.

most mobile installs have common mode currents on the coax due to the fact that the groundplane is not optimal.
its just inherent in using a car as a counterpoise.
my guess is that since you now have a long piece of coax going into the garage instead of a short piece that stays within the vehicle, that these common mode currents on the coax are your problem.
the way to get rid of them is to use about 6 inches to a foot of ferrite right at the base of the mobile antenna.
that being said, ferrite on the device that is receiving the interference usually works quite well.
just some ideas and things to try.
